Pars Today – The ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Baghdad met and conferred with the national security advisor of Iraq on Tuesday to discuss the implementation process of the security agreement.
The Iraqi national security advisor’s office announced in a statement: “In the meeting between Mohammad Kazem Ale-Sadeq and Qassem Al-Araji, bilateral relations were discussed, including the issue of the Tehran-Baghdad security agreement, and the Iranian ambassador welcomed the Iraqi government’s action to implement this agreement. Based on this security agreement, the Iraqi government has committed to halt the activities of separatist groups in the country and at the same time evacuating their bases from the common borders.”/ISNA
