Pars Today – Several large explosions shook the city of Port Sudan on the Red Sea coast in the early hours of Tuesday, and some reports indicate a drone attack by ‘Rapid Support Forces’ rebels on a fuel depot and the ‘Marina’ Hotel in the Sudanese city.
Thick black smoke from Tuesday morning’s explosions has covered parts of the sky over Port Sudan. Reports indicate that the exact location and cause of the explosions are not clear, but some news networks, including Al Arabiya, are reporting a drone attack by ‘Rapid Support Forces’ rebels on the airport and pier of Port Sudan. The news network quoted sources as saying that the city’s airport has been evacuated and efforts to extinguish the fire at the airport’s fuel depot are ongoing. /IRIB news agency
