Pars Today – The Iranian deputy foreign minister and head of the Political Studies and International Relations Center at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated on Tuesday that Iran supports peace between Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Sa’eed Khatibzadeh, at the meeting of the Center for International Relations Analysis in Baku, emphasized that “Iran supports the peace treaty between Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.” He said: “Tehran officially expresses its support for the peace treaty that is to be signed between Yerevan and Baku.” The Iranian deputy foreign minister, also stating that this factor could be achieved through the initiative of the presidents of Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan, added: “I believe that this issue will be reflected in the relations of both sides.”/ISNA
