Pars Today – Deputy foreign minister and head of the Center for Political and International Studies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran emphasized the great importance of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Iran on Tuesday during his visit to Baku.
Saeed Khatibzadeh, in a meeting on the topic of “Relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Iran within the Framework of Regional Processes,” said: “The Republic of Azerbaijan is of great importance to Iran, and the two countries are linked by close relations and common aspirations.” Emphasizing that bilateral relations have entered a new and promising stage, the Iranian deputy foreign minister considered the recent visit of the Iranian president to the Republic of Azerbaijan a turning point and emphasized the need to remove artificial obstacles and further elevate relations between the two countries to a higher level./IRNA
