US: Talks with Iran are positive; we are making progress

Pars Today – US President Donald Trump’s special envoy for West Asia and Washington’s senior nuclear negotiator with Tehran said on Monday night, local time, that the nuclear negotiations with the Islamic Republic of Iran are positive and we are making progress.
Steve Witkoff, in an interview with Axios, added: “I hope the negotiations with Iran go in the right direction, because the US president wants this issue to be resolved diplomatically.” Washington’s top nuclear negotiator with Tehran stated that the US is trying to schedule the fourth round of nuclear talks with Iran for this weekend, but noted that at the same time, “if this talk does not take place, the only reason will be Trump’s trip to West Asia.” / IRNA
