Atwan: Yemen’s attack on Ben Gurion; A turning point in history of Resistance

Pars Today – A renowned Arab world analyst praised the missile attack by Yemeni armed forces on “Ben Gurion” airport.
According to Pars Today, “Abdel Bari Atwan,” a prominent Arab world analyst, wrote on Monday: The fact that a Yemeni ballistic missile reached the heart of Ben Gurion Airport near the passenger terminal, amidst Israel’s deliberate concealment, caused dozens of casualties, sent millions of settlement residents into shelters in terror, and forced dozens of international airlines to immediately cancel their flights to Tel Aviv, is a brilliant moment in the history of the Arab-Israeli conflict and a military achievement for Yemen’s missile unit.
He added: This accomplishment adds to other achievements of Yemen’s missile unit, such as disabling American aircraft carriers and frigates, closing off the Red Sea and Bab al-Mandeb to the shipping of colonialists.
This analyst noted that the Yemeni ballistic missile has changed all battle equations in the West Asia region and blown away the myth of Zionist superiority, highlighting six reasons for the importance of this missile attack:
First, the “Palestine 2” missile was fired in support of Palestine and opposition to the genocide in Gaza, showing that no area in the Occupied Territories is safe from the reach of Yemeni missiles and drones.
Second, the failure of all of Israel’s highly advanced air defense systems, including Iron Dome, Arrow, Patriot, and THAAD, to intercept this missile demonstrates that the operation was highly sophisticated and impossible to track.
Third, this missile has not been imported from great powers; unlike the weapons of Arab countries for which hundreds of billions are spent. This missile has been made by the Yemenis, and Donald Trump has acknowledged this fact with audio and video”
Fourth, the significant achievement of this missile, having traveled over 2,200 kilometers in less than 14 minutes and hitting its target, will be taught in military academies worldwide and marks the beginning of a new phase.
Fifth, besides the unprecedented military achievement, firing this missile into the heart of Tel Aviv delivered a psychological blow to the Israeli enemy, its army, settlers, while reigniting hope in hundreds of millions of Arabs and Muslims, especially freedom fighters.
Sixth, this attack signifies the failure of U.S. assaults, which have exceeded 1,300 incidents so far.
Atwan added: Sunday was a historic and brilliant day for Arab and Islamic resistance against the Israeli-American axis of evil.
