Members of italian motorcycle world travel association: "few countries can rival iran for adventure tourism"

According to a Pars Today report quoting IRNA, a group of members of the Italian Motorcycle World-Travel Association, who attended a cultural meeting in the province of Umbria, enthusiastically welcomed the experience of traveling to Iran, emphasizing their desire to learn more about the cultural, historical, and social realities of Iran.
At this meeting, which focused on “attractions and opportunities for traveling to Iran” and was attended by “Seyed Majid Emami”, the Iranian cultural attaché (cultural counselor) in Italy and the Consular Affairs Representative of the Iranian Embassy in Perugia, Umbria Province, a documentary film about the natural beauties, cultural diversity, and historical attractions of Iran was shown to the participants, which was warmly welcomed by the attendees.
A group of Italian motorcycle world-travel association members who had previously traveled to Iran also shared their memories and praised Iran’s culture of hospitality, travel safety, attractive routes, and pristine landscapes.
The Italian motorcyclists described Iran as a unique destination for adventure tourism, and some of them announced that they had entered Iran two or more times by motorcycle through different routes.
Iran’s cultural attaché (advisor) in Italy, citing four main reasons for Iran’s top ranking as an experience-based tourism destination for Italian tourists, including climate diversity, depth of civilization, people-to-people contacts, and easy access, suggested holding intensive Persian language courses for those interested in this type of travel.
The consular representative of the Iranian Embassy in Italy also emphasized maximum cooperation and announced that special facilities would be provided for Italian tourists traveling to Iran.
In the final part of the meeting, more than sixty members of the association, while welcoming cultural presentations and hearing fascinating travel stories from their fellow travelers, announced their readiness to travel to Iran in the coming months. They also emphasized their role in presenting a true image of Iran in the media and social networks.
It was also announced at the gathering that a special program focusing on Iran has been prepared for next autumn, and the board of directors of the association also invited the cultural advisor (cultural attaché) of the Islamic Republic of Iran to attend the association’s main booth at the Verona International Tourism Fair in January 2026 and deliver a special lecture on the topic of “Discovering Iran.”
