Pars Today- NATO is examining a plan dubbed as, “Eastern Flank” to counter the drones along 3000km borders of Russia and Belarus.
According to Pars Today, the NATO defense wall called, “Eastern Flank” is made up of many defense system radars in low altitude, and also, radio satellite jammers and anything needed for confronting drones. This plan is led by Germany and supported by 6 NATO member states- Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Poland and Norway.
China unveils light fiber-guided UAV
The Chinese unveiled a light fiber-guided drone with a range of 30km. The range of light fiber-guided drones is quickly increasing while they had a range of only 10km last year. The Ukrainians and Russians used drones with a 20km range. This increase of range means that the drone operator can attack even the defense equipment and artillery behind the battlefield with no fear of the electronic warfare.
China tests 5-G of J35 shipborne aircraft
China announced that it has tested the fifth generation of J35 shipborne jet fighter on its aircraft carrier 003. This test includes launching with electromagnetic catapult. Thus, China is the third country- after the US and France- which operationalizes aircraft-carrying with catapult.
India orders Rafale shipborne aircraft
India, concluding a $7.4 billion contract, ordered 26 Rafale shipborne twin-jet fighters to substitute the Russian MiG-29k jet fighters for delivery in 2029-2031.
