UNICEF: Gaza children sick, thirsty, hungry / UNRWA continues warning on critical situation

Pars Today- The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) expressed concern over the pitiful situation of the people in Gaza and called for end of the siege of the region.
UNICEF, in a message on Thursday on X social network, announcing that hundreds of trucks carrying relief items for the kids in Gaza are waiting for entering the region, said that the Zionist regime has blocked the way of these trucks. According to Pars Today, UNICEF wrote in the message that the children in Gaza are sick, thirsty and hungry. The Palestinians children are now facing the gravest human crisis due to the war.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has also warned that as the Israeli continues the siege no aid has entered Gaza for nearly two months.
Referring to the imminent famine in the Gaza Strip, UNRWA called for immediate opening of all crossings to transfer vital assistance to the strip.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian medical sources announced on Friday morning that at least 31 Palestinians have been martyred during the airstrikes of the past 24 hours by the fake Zionist regime on the Gaza Strip.
According to these sources, there are bodies of women and children among the martyrs. The bombardments were so heavy that many houses have been ruined and the relief workers are engaged in taking the corpses out of the debris.
The Namibian representative at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), reviewing the crimes of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip, stressed on Thursday that Palestinians are in exigent need of water, food, power and medical equipment. He made it clear, “Israel must allow the entry of aid to the region.”
The Mexican envoy, too, said that, based on the Geneva Convention, the illegitimate Zionist regime, as the occupying power, must agree with the entry of humanitarian aid and it must respect the relief agencies and their existence.
Earlier, other UN-affiliated institutions and humanitarian organizations had also called for international interference to end the illegal siege of Gaza and rescue the civilians from the barbarity of Zionists.
Yet, the fabricated Zionist regime, emboldened with the US’ full-scale support, insists on genocide of the Palestinians while the Western regimes which claim to support human rights are just aiding and abetting the child-killer regime to go on with its barbaric crimes.
