Pars Today- France has banned the display of dolls or the color red in pro-Palestinian protests.
In France, it is now prohibited to display the color red or dolls symbolizing Palestinian children during demonstrations supporting Gaza, where the Israeli regime has been committing genocide since October 2023. The French government has informed organizers of pro-Palestinian rallies that they are no longer permitted to display dolls or the color red.
According to Pars Today, during this week’s pro-Gaza rally in Paris, there was an increase in the number of police officers compared to previous weeks, and the presence of dolls, the color red, and traditional Palestinian clothing was banned.
“Olivia Zemor,” director of the EuroPalestine Institute, stated in this regard: “The French government has informed us that we are not allowed to depict the conditions of Palestinian mothers, children, and prisoners. They said it’s disturbing to talk about children dying in their mothers’ arms, as it unsettles people.”
One of the pro-Palestinian protesters also lamented this contradiction, saying: “The protests are considered disturbing by the government, while the actual massacre of children in Gaza is not seen in the same light.”
Every week, a demonstration in support of Gaza takes place in one of the neighborhoods of Paris, the capital of France.
Based on the latest data from Gaza’s Ministry of Health, since the start of the war in Gaza in October 2023, the Israeli regime has martyred more than 51,305 Palestinians and injured another 117,096.
