Pars Today- The Friday prayer leader of Sunni Muslims in Bandar Abbas said, “Qods is sacred for Muslims, Christians and Jews and its real history negates the bogus claims of Zionists.
Sheikh Yusuf Jamali has just condemned the crimes of the Zionist regime and announced, “Qods is the place of ascension of the Prophet of Islam, birthplace of Imam Shafei (One of the major Imams of Sunni Muslims) and the graveyard of many prophets. It is the land of unity of Abrahamic religions.” According to Pars Today, quoting from IRNA, this Sunni scholar, referring to the status of Qods in the ascension of the Prophet to the heavens and the place of living of great prophets, called for global solidarity in support for the Palestinian people.
The Friday prayer leader of Sunni Muslims in Bandar Abbas, also pointed to the recent carnages in Gaza and asked the global community to awaken its conscience as these crimes are not related to Muslims but rather have targeted the whole mankind.
Rejecting the claim of historical rule of Jews on Palestine, he said, “Jews had no role in the two historical conquests of Qods by Muslims and Christians were in power there; and in those events Muslims would always interact with Christians, but they never accepted the Jewish dominance.”
Sheikh Jamali called the Western regimes, especially the US, as the supporter of the child-killer Zionist regime and called on the Islamic countries to increase global pressures, through unity, in a bid to stop these crimes.
He stressed, “With the solidarity of Muslims even the supporters of Zionists will give up their support and this path of our unity can take the voice of Palestine to the world and annihilate this fabricated regime.”
