Pars Today – The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, stating that the Oman talks are one of many tasks of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated: We should not tie the country’s issues to these talks.
According to Pars Today, quoting the website of the Office of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, on Tuesday, during a meeting with senior officials of the three branches of government, cautioned against excessive optimism or pessimism regarding the outcomes of the Oman talks. The Leader emphasized: The country’s activities to achieve goals in all areas must continue with greater momentum, and nothing should be tied to the results of the negotiations.
Ayatollah Khamenei described investment in production as the best way to counter sanctions, adding: Lifting sanctions is not in our hands, but neutralizing sanctions is within our control. There are numerous ways and suitable domestic capacities for this, and if this goal is achieved, the country will become impervious to sanctions.
The Leader highlighted the importance of expanding relations with neighbors, economic hubs in Asia, Africa, and other countries, noting: This requires follow-up, especially to change certain practices at mid-levels.
Ayatollah Khamenei praised the president’s contacts with other heads of state and the activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as highly effective.
The Leader stressed the continuation of the country’s activities in all industrial, economic, construction, cultural, and major project fields, stating: None of these issues are related to the Oman talks.
Imam Khamenei warned against “extreme optimism or pessimism” about the Oman talks and stated: The country’s initial decision to negotiate was well-executed. Moving forward, we must proceed with precision, while the red lines for us and the other side are completely clear.
Ayatollah Khamenei added: The talks may or may not yield results. We are neither overly optimistic nor overly pessimistic about these discussions, though we are very distrustful of the other side but optimistic about our own capabilities.
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution emphasized the need for careful and precise implementation of the Seventh Development Plan, stating: This plan, which is well-designed and based on the country’s macro policies, must be executed firmly and accurately from the outset.
In his concluding remarks, Ayatollah Khamenei referred to the unprecedented crimes of the Zionist criminal gang in deliberately targeting patients, journalists, ambulances, hospitals, and innocent women and children in Gaza, saying: These atrocities require extraordinary cruelty, which the occupying criminal group possesses.
The Leader described coordinated action by the Islamic world in economic, political, and, if necessary, operational areas as an urgent need, adding: Of course, God will bring down His whip on these oppressors, but this does not diminish the heavy responsibilities of governments and nations.
