Pars Today – More than 100,000 protesters in Dhaka, capital of Bangladesh, demonstrated against the crimes of the Zionist regime.
According to Pars Today, Bengali protesters, who have been estimated to surpass 100 thousand, gathered on Saturday at Sohrevardi Park of Dhaka University. They held the flags of Palestine and chanted slogans like, “Free Palestine”. Many of them held the pictures of the US President Donald Trump, Zionist regime premier Benjamin Netanyahu and Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and accused them of complicity in crimes against Palestine. The protesters were also holding coffins and statues denoting innocent martyrs of Gaza.
Pakistani diplomat: Iran has the upper hand in all fields
Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry, Former Foreign Minister of Pakistan, on Saturday called the indirect Tehran-Washington talks in Oman as hope-inspiring and said, “Americans and their allies should know that the Islamic Republic of Iran is very different from what they knew 20 years ago and now Iran has the upper hand in all fields, including the nuclear and defensive technology.” Aizaz Chaudhry, who had also served as the Pakistani envoy to Washington, added, “Trump is famous for making hasty decisions and reneging on remarks and commitments; hence, I believe the American military moves in the region are just aimed at pressuring the opposite side [Iran]. But, we shouldn’t forget that Iranians, too, are not negligent of their surroundings and monitor the American interests closely in the region.”
China stages nuclear security drill
The Atomic Energy Agency of China announced that the country staged its 6th nuclear security exercise on Saturday in Fujian province. According to the agency’s announcement, the aim of this exercise is to increase awareness of the risk among nuclear facilities operators and improvement of coordination among agencies.
Araghchi: First round of talks was constructive and hope-inspiring
Iran’s Foreign Minister, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, stressing on Saturday that the negotiations with the US were held in a climate of mutual respect, said, “The first round of talks in Oman was constructive and hope-inspiring. Both sides decided to continue this course in several days.”
Letter of Emir of Jamat Islami Pakistan to Pezeshkian and other leaders of Islamic countries on Gaza
Hafiz Naeem Ur Rehman, Ameer of Jamaat e Islami of Pakistan, sending a letter on Saturday to the leaders of Islamic countries, including the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, concentrated on defense of the ideals of the oppressed Palestinian nation and clarification against the Zionist regime crimes, proposed the immediate holding of the summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and marking the World Day of Solidarity with Gaza.
Broad demonstration in Bangladesh against Zionist regime

United States prolongs anti-Russia sanctions for one year
Donald Trump, the American President, signing an executive order on Saturday evening, prolonged for one more year the package of anti-Russia sanctions which had been imposed by the former President, Joe Biden. The Biden administration issued the 14024 Executive Order on April 15, 2021 which boycotted the Russian persons and institutions with the allegations of anti-US cyber activities, trying to undermine holding of elections in the US and other countries, trying to harm or kill American citizens and banned financial measures.
