Pars Today- The American president once again called his Ukrainian counterpart as “dictator” and said, “He had better take an action, or else, there will remain nothing from his country.”
In continuation of verbal attacks on Ukraine’s President, Volodymyr Zelensky, the US President, Donald Trump, described him as a “modestly successful comedian”. Pars Today, quoting from Trump’s personal social network called, “Truth Social”, reported that Zelensky had convinced the United States to pay $350 billion to enter a war which doesn’t prophecy any victory, a war which shouldn’t have begun.”
Zelensky: Trump lives in a place full of disinformation
The day after Trump’s calling Ukraine as the initiator of war, Zelensky charged him with repetition of false information and claimed that Trump has been caught in a Russian “disinformation bubble”. Zelensky, ruling out the American president’s allegation, insisted on Ukraine’s stance that no agreement will be concluded for ending the war without Kiev.
UN: We have no idea
On the other hand, after the deepening of rift between the US and Ukrainian presidents, Stephane Dujarric, the UN Spokesman, refused to address the issue and said that the United Nations has asked for negotiations to end the Ukraine-Russia war. In response to the question of journalists, that, “Will Trump’s calling Zelensky as a dictator and initiator of war undermine the efforts to end the war”, Dujarric said, “The UN Secretary-General and spokesman cannot express their opinion about the remarks stated by officials in various parts of the world.”
Britain: We defend Zelensky
After Trump’s controversial remarks against Zelensky, political figures in Britain, including Prime Minster, Keir Starmer, expressed their support for the Ukrainian president. The British prime minister’s office announced that Starmer, during a phone call, defended Zelensky against Trump’s calling him a dictator.
Germany: Trump has made a mistake
German Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, stressed, “Calling Zelensky as a dictator by Donald Trump is dangerous.” He announced, “Trump’s decision to dub Zelensky as a dictator is a wrong and dangerous issue.” Making it clear that, according to the Constitution and election regulations of Ukraine, the presidential election is not going to be held in the war time, he stressed, “Denial of Zelensky’s democratic legitimacy is not correct.”
France: We are consonant with our allies about Ukraine
The French President, Emanuel Macron, also announced that Paris and its allies are consonant about Ukraine and believe that the country’s rights and Europe’s security concerns should be taken into consideration for any agreement to end the war between Moscow and Kiev.
