After a tense week for financial markets due to Trump’s announcement of imposition of broad tariffs [on imports], thousands of protesters staged demonstrations in different cities of the US, such as Washington and New York, and many European cities, like Berlin, Frankfurt, London, Paris and Lisbon against Donald Trump and Elon Musk. According to Pars Today, protesters carried placards bearing slogans like, “Return Democracy”, “Hands Off Our Personal Information”, “Get Out Donald! World is Tired of Your Humbug”.
