Pars Today – Italian lawyer, Francesca Albanese, despite strong opposition of the Zionist lobby, remained in her profession as the UN Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
Despite extensive efforts of the Zionist regime to depose the Italian international lawyer, Francesca Albanese, the UN Human Rights Council on Saturday prolonged her mission as the body’s Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories till 2028. According to Pars Today, quoting from the Zionist daily Yedioth Ahronoth, Albanese’s mission was prolonged for more three years by 47 UNHRC member states despite the opposition of the two countries of Argentina and Hungary and the fake regime of Israel.
Who is Albanese?
Francesca Albanese, born in 1977 in Italy, is the professor of law in the International George Town University, US. She had already worked with the UN Relief Work Agency (UNRWA). Albanese was appointed as the UN Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories in April 2022 for the first time. But, after exposure of the Zionist regime crimes in the Occupied Territories, was lambasted by pro-Israel elements.
Albanese described the Israeli measures in the Gaza war as an “all-out genocide”. She has stressed that there are evident clues that Israel has breached at least 3 out of 5 measures listed in the UN Genocide Convention. Zionist officials, due to exposure of the regime’s aggression on Gaza and massacre of civilians, have complained several times against her and even accused her husband of cooperating with the Palestinian self-rule authority.

Appreciation due to years of expressing realities
Human rights organizations and pro-Palestine groups have several times appreciated Francesca Albanese for her documentation of Israeli crimes in Gaza and exposure of the fake regime’s Apartheid and systematic violence against Palestine. The Iranian NGO “Peace and Environment” qualified Albanese to be awarded the annual Dr. “Taqi Ebtekar” prize. This organization, in an official letter, appreciated the endeavors of this UN rapporteur and she was awarded Dr. “Taqi Ebtekar” prize.
This is while, some lawmakers in the EU and the US and a few pro-Israel groups accuse Albanese of what they call “anti-Semitism.” Danny Danon, the fake Zionist regime’s Permanent Representative to the UN, called Albanese as “anti-Semitic” and claimed that she has several times expressed remarks not only against Israel but the whole Jewish people.
Criticism of US and Israel
Francesca Albanese is quite active on social networks and publishes various comments against Israel. In 2014, in a tweet, she called the US as the slave of the Jewish lobby. In the same year, she accused the British royal channel, BBC, of collaborating with the Zionist lobby. Albanese has many times supported Hamas and the Gazans since the start of the war in the region. She has described al-Aqsa Storm as the [natural] outcome of the Zionist regime [unbridled] oppression against the people of Gaza.
This Italian lawyer, due to the innumerable crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza, pointed her accusing finger at the regime’s criminal Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and, comparing him with Adolf Hitler, likened the current Israeli regime’s policies to those of Nazis. Albanese has also described Gaza as the greatest and most ignominious forced labor camp of the 21st century.
