Pars Today- April 1 is the “Islamic Republic Day” and it is the manifestation of the resolute will of the great Iranian nation for materialization of Islamic dignity and determination of the fate of the country by the revolutionary people.
After the glorious victory of the Islamic Revolution, with the leadership of Imam Khomeini (God’s mercy upon him), in the last day of March 1979, the Islamic Republic referendum was held across the country and %98.2 percent of the population voted for the Islamic Republic ruling system. Thus, April 1 was dubbed as the “Islamic Republic Day” in the Iranian calendar.

The Iranian nation, through their fateful turnout in the first election after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, strongly proved to the world that the era of intervention and decision-making by foreigners was over in Iran.

The Islamic Revolution has also bolstered the parameters of fighting arrogance and hegemony and seeking justice and independence among freedom-seeking communities so that these communities have become hopeful of the divine promise of ultimate victory over falsehood.
