Pars Today – The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, referring to the statements made by the Turkish President regarding Nowruz being also a day of celebration for Turkish-speaking people, emphasized that these remarks reflect the depth and richness of the noble message of Nowruz.
Esmaeil Baghaei, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, wrote on the social media platform X: Nowruz has ancient roots in Iranian civilization and has been celebrated in the Iranian plateau for a long time.
According to Pars Today, Baghaei added: Throughout history, this blessed ceremony has spread among various nations and today stands as a shared cultural heritage of many people, symbolizing friendship, peace, and solidarity.
In his message, he emphasized: We are proud that Iranian Nowruz, thanks to its noble human and cultural message, is now celebrated by many nations and ethnic groups, including Turks, Arabs, Kurds, Baluchs, Turkmens, Uzbeks, strengthening human, cultural, and social ties among peoples and nations across a vast region from East to West Asia and beyond.
The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry reminded: As the Secretary-General of the United Nations stated: ‘In our world filled with conflict, division, and strife, Nowruz is a precious gift. Nowruz promotes good neighborliness, reconciliation, and solidarity between generations and communities.
