35 countries around the world use Iranian biotech drugs

Pars Today – The secretary of the Iranian Association of Producers and Exporters of Medical Biotech Products announced the export of these products to 35 countries.
“Hossein Amir Azodi,” the secretary of the Iranian Association of Producers and Exporters of Medical Biotech Products, stated: “Despite oppressive sanctions, Iran’s pharmaceutical biotech industry exported to 33 countries last year and to 35 countries this year.”
According to Pars Today, quoting IRNA, Amir Azodi, on the sidelines of the fourth congress and exhibition of biotech drugs and related industries in Tehran, added: “Iran’s pharmaceutical biotechnology industry saves the country $2 billion in currency and accounts for 60% of Iran’s pharmaceutical exports.”
He emphasized: “Today, out of 150 global biotech drug products, 40 are produced in Iran.”
