Pars Today – The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that Beijing continues to support the legitimate concerns and just stances of the Islamic and Arab countries about the issue of Palestine.
Mao Ning, Spokeswoman of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated in a news conference, “The post-war government in Gaza should abide by the principle of ‘Palestinians rule Palestine.'” According to Pars Today, quoting from daily Global Times, Mao Ning added, “The situation in Gaza after the war should let the Palestinian people reconstruct their houses in their own land.”
While announcing the support for the stances of the Islamic countries on Gaza, Mao made it clear, “China will continue cooperation with the international community to help this endeavor.”
Meanwhile, Lin Jian, another spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, referring to Trump’s proposal of forced relocation of the Gazans in other countries with the pretext of reconstruction, said that Beijing is opposed to any forced transfer of the people from the Gaza Strip.
Gaza belonging to Palestinian people
Wang Yi, Chinese Foreign Minister and Director of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee Foreign Affairs Commission Office, also, said during the press conference of the annual meeting of the National People’s Congress, “Gaza belongs to the people of Palestine and it is an inseparable part of the Palestinian soil. Any operation for changing the situation of Gaza forcibly will cause fresh unrest and chaos.”
Noting that the issue of Palestine has always been on the core of the issues in West Asia, Wang Yi stated, “China decisively supports the access of the people of West Asia to justice, peace and development.”
