Pars Today – A political activist and user of X social network criticized the US’ measure to revoke diplomas of pro-Palestine students in Columbia University.
Seyyed Mohammad Hosseini, political activist and a member of the scientific board of Tehran University, in a tweet on Saturday, pointed to the role of the US to suppress the supporters of Palestine. According to Pars Today, Hosseini has written, “Colombia University in the US has announced that it has revoked the diplomas of some students who had taken part in the protest rallies for Palestine! Freedom of expression a la Colombia University!!!”
Fuad Izadi, a professor of Tehran University, also wrote in a tweet in this regard, “The new method of Colombia University in the US to treat the students supporting the people of Palestine; revoking the BA, MA and PhD of the students participating in demonstrations who are about to graduate or have been graduated; many more have been suspended or expelled.”
Al-Aqsa channel off air; freedom of media
Hassan Abedini, political activist, wrote in a tweet on X social network about forcing al-Aqsa channel to stop broadcasting, “The US in complicity with European allies, in a bid to cover up the crimes of the Zionist regime, put al-Aqsa channel off satellites to violate even the first amendment of Constitution including the freedom of expression, freedom of religions and freedom of media. This media of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance (Hamas) was the narrator of the life of the people of Palestine under siege.”
Ignoring Netanyahu’s crimes
George Galloway, British politician and ex-member of the British Parliament, wrote about ignoring the crimes of the Zionist regime, Benjamin Netanyahu, in the international communities, “I think we should stop talking about international law When Netanyahu with arrest warrants against him, can visit anywhere while Duterte, former Philippine leader, is taken to The Hague. There is no pretension of justice.”
Pain of Palestinian patients
Seyyed Mohammad Marandi, professor of English literature and Eastern studies of Tehran University, addressed the pains of the Palestinians in Gaza in a tweet. He wrote on X, “Haya Subeh, Palestinian 4-year-old girl, has been suffering from aggressive cancer for 10 months and the tumors are rapidly spreading in her body causing constant pains for her. She is in dire need of specialized care, but the Zionist regime continues blocking her access to treatment.”
Campaign for ending ethnic cleansing in Gaza
Jeremy Corbyn, British politician, wrote in a tweet on X social network about ethnic cleansing in Gaza, “Israel has blocked for 12 Days and still blocking the trucks of humanitarian aid into Gaza. Join us on Saturday to call for the end of ethnic cleansing and to show that we will never be shaken in supporting the Palestinian people.”
