Pars Today – Media sources have reported aerial attacks by the US and UK on various regions of Yemen, bombing defenseless civilians’ homes.
Al Mayadeen network reported early Sunday morning that American and British warplanes targeted the Jarban area in Sanaa, the capital of Yemen. The US and UK aggressors also bombed civilian homes in the districts of Majzar in Ma’rib province, Mukayras and Al-Qurayshiyah in Al-Bayda province, Mabin in Hajjah province, as well as the Al-Alaaf area and Sakhar district in Sa’dah, Yemen. According to Pars Today’s report, 39 people have been martyred or injured so far in the US and UK airstrikes on different areas of Sanaa and Saada provinces.
Yemen’s Supreme Political Council: Aggressors’ punishment will be painful
In response to the attack, Yemen’s Supreme Political Council stated: “Targeting civilians demonstrates the weakness of the United States, and this action will not deter us from supporting Gaza. On the contrary, it will escalate the situation to a more severe and intense phase.”
The council further emphasized: “The punishment of the aggressors will be carried out professionally and painfully.”
US strike on Yemen will not go unanswered
In the same context, the Political Office of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement announced in a statement that the US aggression on northern Sanaa will not go unanswered, and our forces are prepared to respond in kind and continue the fight until victory is achieved.
Yemen’s Foreign Ministry: US and UK strikes violate our sovereignty
In response to these attacks, Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated: “The US and UK strikes on civilian targets constitute a blatant violation of Yemen’s sovereignty and stability.” The ministry emphasized that this aggression occurred despite the return of calm to the Red Sea, with restrictions having been applied solely to Israeli ships.
Yemeni scholars: Confronting US aggression is a religious duty
The Assembly of Yemeni Scholars condemned the attack in a statement, saying that confronting US and UK aggression and engaging in jihad in this regard is a religious obligation.
The Assembly of Yemeni Scholars affirmed that supporting the people of Gaza is an Islamic and humanitarian principle that cannot be compromised or negotiated, and that pressures, threats, airstrikes, and psychological warfare will have no effect on this stance.
Yemeni Army prepares to respond
Al-Mayadeen network, citing its correspondent in Sanaa, reported that the Yemeni Army is preparing for a broad response to the US and UK airstrikes on various regions of the country.
