Pars Today – Iran’s Deputy Minister of Economy announced the export of 141 million tons of goods from the country in the past 11 months.
Foroud Asgari, Iran’s Deputy Minister of Economy stated: “The weight of Iran’s non-oil foreign trade in the past 11 months reached 176 million and 102 thousand tons, showing a 9.2% increase compared to the same period last year.” According to Pars Today, citing Iran Customs, Asgari added: “In the past 11 months, 141 million tons of goods were exported from Iran, reflecting a 12.6% increase in weight.”
Loading and unloading of 215 million tons of goods in Iranian ports
In other news, based on reports from the Ports and Maritime Organization, the volume of goods loaded and unloaded at Iran’s ports under the ownership and authority of the Ports and Maritime Organization in the past 11 months amounted to 215,327,118 tons.
Global foreign investment reaches a record $41 trillion
In the global economy, according to the latest coordinated foreign direct investment survey by the International Monetary Fund (IMF), global foreign direct investment increased by $1.75 trillion, equivalent to a 4.4% rise, reaching a record $41 trillion in 2023.
