Baghaei’s response to Fidan: If it weren’t for daggers stabbed from behind, no one would dare speak of displacing Palestinians

Pars Today – The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in response to the remarks of Hakan Fidan, Turkey’s Foreign Minister, against Iran’s regional policies, stated: We remain steadfast in our principled positions and do not shift our stance from one policy to another every day.
According to Pars Today, Esmaeil Baghaei, the spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, wrote in a social media post: It is a grave mistake to ignore the visible and hidden hands of the U.S. and Israel in regional developments. Clearly, as the Turkish Foreign Minister stated, ‘The region must be freed from the culture of one country dominating others; neither Arabs, Turks, Kurds, nor Iranians should seek to dominate, harass, or threaten one another.’ But what about Israel?”
He continued: Within days of the fall of Damascus by Turkish-backed forces, Israel launched extensive attacks against Syria’s military and defense infrastructure, even targeting its scientific and research centers, destroying over 90% of them.
Additionally, Israel has reoccupied the entire Golan Heights and, through its continued expansionism, has seized large and significant portions of Syrian territory. Israel now controls Syria’s most vital water resources and repeatedly violates its territorial integrity and national sovereignty. These are the outcomes of a misguided policy for the people of Syria, Palestine, and the entire region.
The spokesperson for Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized in his message: Over the past five decades, Iran has not pursued any regional ambitions. Our sole concern has been supporting the Palestinian people and their cause in resisting occupation and aggression, and preventing Israeli domination over the region. Today, the Palestinian issue is more alive than ever, and Israel is more despised than ever. If not for the daggers stabbed from behind, no one would dare speak of forcibly displacing Palestinians from Gaza or annexing the West Bank.
Baghaei further noted in his message: The Islamic Republic of Iran has always supported resistance while simultaneously and sincerely combating illegal actions and terrorism. We were the first country to raise the flag of fighting Daesh and violent extremism, led by our national hero, Martyr Soleimani, and defeated them in the region. We were the first country to oppose and confront the coup attempt against the Turkish government. We were among the first countries to welcome the PKK’s decision to lay down arms, viewing it as an important step toward enhancing security in our neighboring country, Turkey.
He stressed: We remain steadfast in our principled positions and do not shift our stance from one policy to another every day.
It is worth noting that the Turkish Foreign Minister, in an exclusive interview with al Jazeera, made hostile remarks against Iran.
