US negotiations with Hamas; Trump realizes Resistance does not fear

Pars Today – A prominent Arab analyst stated: Donald Trump’s turn to negotiations is the result of his administration’s despair and that of its envoy in dictating terms to Hamas through Arab mediators.
According to Pars Today, Abdul Bari Atwan, a well-known Arab analyst, expressed surprise at the behavior of some Arab countries that have rejoiced over the direct US negotiations with Hamas and spoke about a shift in Trump’s approach and policies. He added: Trump’s move toward negotiations stems from the failure of his administration and its envoy to impose conditions on the Palestinian resistance either through Arab mediators or threats.
He further stated: Trump resorted to direct negotiations with Hamas after realizing that Hamas does not fear his threats, nor is it intimidated by the prospect of unleashing hell against it or its strong popular base. All of his plans, including the relocation plan, have ended in failure. Just as his threats to relocate [the embassy] brought unintended consequences and unanimous opposition during the Arab summit, as well as from European countries.
According to Atwan, “The threat of genocide using American bombs in the hands of Zionists is also doomed to fail. The US negotiations with Hamas are neither a gift nor a favor, but an acknowledgment of the failure and futility of all the genocidal and relocation schemes.”
