UNRWA empty stores; starvation, death lie in ambush for Gazans

Pars Today – Several months after announcement of prohibition of UNRWA activity in the Gaza Strip by the Zionist regime, the health and psychological effects of this anti-human move are emerging among Palestinians, particularly special patients.
The Zionist regime, aimed at making the Gaza uninhabitable and implementing ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian territories, has passed a bill to prohibit the activity of United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). Pars Today, quoting from Tasnim news agency, reported that the Palestinian lady, Hanan Abu Saeed, speaks of how her health and that of her children have been imperiled due to failure to provide the medicines needed for blood pressure from UNRWA medical centers at Nuseirat camp in Gaza.
Huda al-Hattab, another Palestinian lady, who is also suffering from heart problems, failed to get the insulin needed for her diabetic son form UNRWA medical centers and is worried about deterioration of his health and being hospitalized at ICU department.
This Palestinian mother says,
“I noticed that all UNRWA centers are closed. We have come here to fill prescription, but I failed to get the medicine. Israel has sentenced us to death in this way. Wasn’t the disaster that befell us enough? My son takes insulin and the medicine for diabetes. I cannot find insulin for him. If he doesn’t take insulin, he will be hospitalized at the ICU. My fate is the same as I am suffering from heart problems.”
Meanwhile, the UNRWA stores, which have run out of flour and food due to the Israeli blockade of aid convoys to the Gaza Strip, have sounded the alarm for new onset of starvation and famine in the region.
The war imposed by the occupying Zionist regime against UNRWA is not a new thing. The regime has made these efforts for long to end the activities of this agency in a bid to omit the issue of homelessness of Palestinians, and that, under the conditions that the Gazans are in dire need of the UNRWA relief services due to the persistence of war conditions.
Director General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, condemned the Israeli prevention of UNRWA activity and reiterated on X social network, “The fact is that there is no alternative for UNRWA in Palestine. This agency, which was established by the UN General Assembly in 1949, is providing emergency aid, education for Palestinians, and gives hygiene, medical and social services to at least 5.9 million Palestinians.”
