Pars Today – Iranian users of the social network ‘X’ have described the U.S. President’s claim of negotiating with the Islamic Republic of Iran as a major deception by Washington.
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, who had previously withdrawn from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) during his first term by breaching the agreement, has once again claimed that he prefers to reach an agreement with Iran.
In this regard, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei, during a meeting with a group of commanders and personnel of the Air Force and Air Defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, stated: “Negotiating with America is not wise, intelligent, or honorable.” According to Pars Today, Iranian users of the social network also supported this view, calling negotiation with the U.S. a strategic mistake.
For instance, Hassan Naseripour, one of the Iranian users on X, described negotiations between the U.S. and Iran as an empty and hollow promise, writing: “Experience has shown that negotiating with the U.S. means broken promises and pure loss!
From the McFarlane affair to the JCPOA, the result has been nothing but deception and harm. Imam Khamenei wisely showed the path of dignity: steadfastness in the course of the Islamic Revolution, not submission to deception!”
Sajjad Babamir, another user on X, wrote: “Our stance is the same as the Leader of the Revolution, and we do not want negotiations. The people of Iran, in the 46th anniversary rally of the victory of the Islamic Revolution, unanimously shouted that it is impossible for us to submit to humiliation, and this means the general struggle of the Iranian people against the U.S.”
Kianoush Souri, another Iranian user on the X network, believes that negotiating with the U.S. means destroying the achievements of the Islamic Revolution and, in short, the destruction of Iran.
An Iranian user on the X network named Nahid Rohan, referring to Trump’s claim that he prefers an agreement with Iran over severe bombing, wrote: “Israel is not in a position to bomb Iran; moreover, someone who wants to negotiate does not threaten.”
Mohammad Jamshidi, a political activist and user of the X social network, considered Trump’s use of the term ‘negotiation’ as part of deceiving public opinion, writing: “The reason negotiating with the U.S. is dishonorable is that Trump pretends to seek for negotiation, but at the same time, in official policy, he calls for the destruction of Iran’s military power, missile disarmament, and even control of conventional weapons.”
Mahta Yousefi, another Iranian user on the X network, considers negotiating with the U.S. to be futile and said: “The difference between the Iranian nation and many other nations is that the Iranian nation has the courage to say: America is an aggressor, liar, deceiver, and arrogant, and to say Death to America!”
