Pars Today – The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, referring to the recent aggression by the Zionist regime against Iran, stated: “The defensive doctrine of the Islamic Republic of Iran is designed based on delivering a decisive and deterrent response at an appropriate time to the highest level of threats posed by enemies.”
Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, emphasized in a meeting with senior commanders of the armed forces that the Zionists crossed the red lines of the Islamic Republic with their recent aggression against Iran.
According to Pars Today quoting IRIB News Agency, General Bagheri said: “The Zionists should know that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, based on ethics and religious teachings, and in accordance with international law and in line with defending the country’s territorial integrity, without haste or delay, will respond to the aggressors in a regrettable and different manner, with precision and prudence, and at the right time.”
General Bagheri also referred to the two “True Promise” operations and stated: “Just as these two operations were different in terms of tactics, execution, and even the type of weapons used, the response to the recent Israeli aggression will also be beyond the imagination of the Zionist regime’s leaders.”
The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces also addressed the desperation of the Zionist regime in the Gaza Strip and southern Lebanon, saying: “Despite all the crimes committed against civilians in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, the Zionist regime’s army has not been able to achieve any of its declared goals.”
General Bagheri emphasized: “Their main goal in the war in Lebanon was to establish security in the north of the Occupied Territories and return the population to these areas, which not only has not been achieved, but has also led to widespread insecurity in major cities like Haifa and Tel Aviv.”
The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces added: “The Zionist regime’s army announced that its main goal in attacking Gaza was to free its prisoners, but now, after 14 months of the al-Aqsa Storm operation, not only have failed to find any sign of the prisoners’ whereabouts, but after several months of all-out war, the prime minister of this regime was forced to announce a reward for the release of their prisoners.”
On October 26, in a provocative move, the Zionist regime targeted military sites in the provinces of Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam in Iran. Iran’s integrated air defense system successfully intercepted and countered this aggressive action by the Israeli regime.
According to a statement by the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Air Defense Headquarters, limited damage was inflicted on some areas.
