According to Pars Today, Ebrahim Siami, the general director of the Department of Future Research, Planning, and Management in the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance of Iran, referring to the fact that the country’s economic growth in the first six months of this year had a positive situation, said: The forecast of international institutions for Iran’s economic growth this year is 3.5 to 4 percent.
The start of two large mining exhibitions in Tehran with the presence of 151 foreign companies
The 18th Iran International Mine, Mining Industries, Mining Machinery and Equipment, Road Construction and Related Industries Exhibition (Iran ConMin 2024) along with the 21st International Metafo, Metallurgy (Steel, Mining Industries, Blacksmithing and Machining, Molding and Casting) Iran Exhibition with the presence of 151 foreign companies, started working on Saturday, November 23, for three days at the permanent location of Tehran International Exhibitions.
Expansion of trade between Iran and Kazakhstan with the implementation of the Eurasian Free Trade Agreement
“Oantalap Ounalbayev”, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Tehran, in a meeting with “Mohammad Ali Dehghan Dehnavi”, the head of the Organization for the Development of Trade of Iran, emphasized the development of transit transportation of goods between Iran and Kazakhstan through ports and the launch of the railway line to Iran.
Ounalbayev, referring to the Eurasian Free Trade Agreement, said: This agreement is very important for us and is currently being approved by the Kazakh parliament.
The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Tehran added: This agreement can be very effective in expanding trade between Iran and Kazakhstan in the private sector, especially for the exchange of agricultural products.
10-fold increase in the volume of trade between Iran and Tajikistan
The Ambassador of Tajikistan to Iran said: The volume of trade between the two countries has increased by about 10 times since 2020 and there is the capacity to increase bilateral trade to one billion dollars.
“Nizamuddin Zahedi”, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Tehran, in a meeting with “Samad Hassanzadeh”, the head of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, emphasizing the importance of the position of the Iran Chamber for creating sustainable trade relations between the two countries, added: The linguistic and cultural commonalities between the two countries should be a basis for developing cooperation between Iran and Tajikistan.
