Pars Today – The Minister of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran announced a 30% growth in knowledge-based and technological products in the country.
“Hossein Simaie Sarraf,” the Minister of Science, Research, and Technology of Iran, stated on the sidelines of the 25th exhibition of research achievements and tech market: “Based on the provided statistics, the amount of technological and knowledge-based products in Iran has increased by 30 percent.”
According to Pars Today, quoting the Iranian Students’ News Agency (ISNA), Simaie Sarraf added: “This exhibition, by showcasing and introducing advanced achievements, is a source of pride and increases our national pride.”
He emphasized: With the knowledge-based activities undertaken, Iran’s exports have shifted from raw materials to technological products, which is a very satisfying development.
It is worth mentioning that the 12th exhibition on “equipment, laboratory materials, and advanced testing” started on Friday at the Tehran International Exhibition Center and will host visitors for four days.
The products displayed by 278 knowledge-based and technological companies producing laboratory equipment in Iran are categorized into 14 areas, including oil, gas, petrochemistry, electricity, electronics, software and simulation, construction, and others.
