Bedazzling participation of Iran’s knowledge-based companies at “Arab Health” Exhibit in Dubai
Seven Iranian knowledge-based companies have set the ground for attraction of foreign investment, conclusion of trade transactions and expansion of exports markets through showcasing their latest breakthroughs and technologies at the 50th round of Arab Health Exhibit in Dubai.
Among the products presented by Iran’s knowledge-based companies, mention can be made of advanced medical equipment, smart treatment apparatuses, diagnosis technologies, biotechnological products and specialized software in the field of health.
Iran’s pavilion at Arab Health Exhibit was warmly welcomed by visitors and it is prognosticated that the effective presence of these companies in the event will leave positive results in expansion of trade relations and exports of non-oil commodities.
 
Indigenization of 11,000 types of refinery equipment in Iran’s South Pars Complex
Saeed Heidari, Trade Director of South Pars Complex of Iran said, “The cooperation of 120 domestic knowledge-based companies has led to indigenization of over 11,589 types of basic equipment and goods at the Iranian South Pars refineries. The directors of this complex have prioritized using of the capability and capacity of knowledge-based companies, domestic firms and manufacturers. Thus, more than 11,589 types of commodities and equipment needed for refineries of this huge gas complex have been indigenized and broken the monopoly of foreign countries in securing these products.
 
Iran and Turkey intent to enhance cooperation
Farzaneh Sadeq, Iran’s Minister of Roads and Urban Development, said during her trip to Turkey, “We reviewed the issues, for which we had found mutual comprehension at the joint commission of economic confab, and stressed the acceleration of execution of these cases.” Sadeq added, “The issue of facilitating the Iranian and Turkish transportation fleet was emphasized during the meeting and the increase of transit volume both in railway and road field, decision-making on new border railway and road connections, including Cheshmeh Sorayya railway and resumption of Tehran-Van train, were negotiated.”
 
Boeing loses $11 billion
According to ISNA, Boeing company announced that, “It has sustained $11.8 billion in 2024 which is the American airplane manufacturing company’s biggest loss since 2020. The fourth quarter of 2024 was a tough period for Boeing as the operators’ going on strike stopped the production of best seller apparatuses of Boeing airplanes and caused problem for delivery of Boeing orders. Boeing announced that its annual revenues in 2024 amounted to $66.5 billion showing %14 decrease in comparison with the previous year.
 
Powerful Chinese AI and gargantuan loss of American stocks
According to Bloomberg, concerns in the American financial markets over the new Chinese artificial intelligence (DeepSeek) have put the hegemony of the US technology at risk, and reduced the stocks of big American companies in the field of AI. American stocks have dwindled greatly and the future dealings of Nazdaq index lost more than %5 of their value. NVidia fell %11 before opening the US market, and if this trend persists, it may lead to the greatest decrease of the company’s market value in history.
