Iran’s Kordestan to host Sunni women martyrs’ congress; building 200 religious schools for Sunni Muslims in Sistan-Baluchestan

Pars Today- Ayatollah Mostafa Mahami, representative of the Leader in Sistan-Baluchestan province of Iran, informed of constructing 200 religious schools for Sunni Muslims after the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

Number of Sunni seminary students increases after victory of Islamic Revolution
Hojjat-ol-Islam Seyyed Mehdi Qoreishi, Leader’s representative in West Azarbaijan province, stressed the need for unity of Shia and Sunni Muslims and said, “12,000 Sunni students are presently studying at seminaries across Iran. This shows a 4-fold increase in comparison with the beginning of the revolution.” He added, “There were 4,000 Sunni mosques active before the victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, while this number has increased to 17,000.”
Brotherhood of Shia and Sunni Muslims with the triumph of Islamic Revolution in Iran
Mowlavi Abdul Samad Karimzai, Friday prayer leader of Iranshahr city, southeast of Iran, said, “The Islamic Revolution in Iran strengthened brotherhood between Shia and Sunni Muslims and this is getting more consolidated day by day.” He emphasized that the Islamic Revolution is a role model for the modern world and the Islamic world needs to take this role model in a bid to amend the influence of enemies lest the Muslim world changes the course of advancement to backwardness.
A group of Indian Sunni scholars visits Fatemi museum in Qom
A group of the Indian Sunni scholars, after pilgrimage of the holy shrine of Imam Reza’s sister, Lady Masoumeh (Peace upon her), in the city of Qom, paid a visit to Fatemi museum and treasury of Qur’an in this museum.
Kordestan province to host congress of Sunni women martyrs
Batul Sarkani, head of the Basij of women in the west of Iran, said, “The congress of Sunni women martyrs of Kordestan will be held in the city of Sanandaj on July 30, 2025.” Sarkani added, “This congress aims at venerating the status of Sunni women martyrs in Kordestan and introducing their role in defending the Islamic Revolution.”
Islamic Revolution & building 200 seminaries in Sistan-Baluchestan
Ayatollah Mostafa Mahami, representative of Imam Khamenei in Sistan-Baluchestan province, said during the meeting of a number of Iranian Sunni preachers with members of Indian Sunni preachers, “Sistan-Baluchestan, as the capital of Islamic unity, is a clear example of brotherly coexistence among ethnicities and sects. We had a small number of mosques and religious centers before the revolution, but, today, thanks to this revolution, there are nearly 200 seminaries for Sunnis in this province.”
Rapid reconstruction of Sunni mosque in Gaza by Shia lady
Nour Mosque in Gaza was reconstructed in three days by a Shia lady from Kuwait, called Umm Zeinab. This measure was taken to prove the support for the Palestinian people and reconstruction of the damaged areas.
