Leader of the Islamic Revolution in meeting with Hamas leadership council: You did not allow US, Israel to achieve their goals

Pars Today – The head and members of the leadership council of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) met today (February 8), with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei.
Mohammad Ismaeil Darwish, head of Hamas’ leadership council, congratulated the great victory of the resistance in Gaza during the meeting with the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and said: “We view the coincidence of Gaza’s resistance victory with the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution as a good omen and hope that this convergence paves the way for the liberation of al-Quds and al-Aqsa Mosque.”
According to Pars Today, citing the official website of the Leader’s office, Khalil al-Hayya, deputy head of Hamas’ political bureau, also congratulated the victory of the Gaza resistance at the beginning of the meeting and told the Leader of the Islamic Revolution: “We have come to meet you today while all of us are proud, and this great victory is a shared victory between us and the Islamic Republic.”
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Khamenei commemorated the martyrs of Gaza and fallen commanders, especially Martyr Ismail Haniyeh, and told Hamas leaders: “The Almighty God granted you and the people of Gaza honor and victory, making Gaza a manifestation of the noble verse of Quran that says: ‘The Almighty granted you and the people of Gaza honor and victory, making Gaza a manifestation of the noble verse: “A small group overcome a mighty force by the will and permission of God.””
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution emphasized: “You overcame the Zionist regime and, in reality, the United States, and thanks to God, you did not allow them to achieve any of their goals.”
Imam Khamenei, referring to the hardships endured by the people of Gaza during a year and a half of resistance, added: “The result of all these sufferings and sacrifices was ultimately the victory of righthood over falsehood, and the people of Gaza became a model for all those committed to resistance.”
During the meeting, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution expressed appreciation for Hamas negotiators, calling the outcome of the agreement significant, and stated: “Today, the duty of the entire Muslim world and all supporters of resistance is to help the people of Gaza alleviate their suffering and pain.”
Imam Khamenei emphasized the necessity of planning for cultural activities, continuing current promotional efforts alongside military operations, and reconstructing Gaza. He added: “Resistance forces and Hamas performed exceptionally well in media work, and this approach must continue.”
The Leader considered faith as the main factor and asymmetric weapon of the resistance front against the enemy and stated: “It is through this faith that the Islamic Republic and the resistance front do not feel weak in the face of enemies.”
Referring to recent U.S. threats against the Islamic Republic and the Iranian people, Imam Khamenei stressed: “Such threats have no effect on the mindset of our nation, officials, or the country’s activists and youth.”
The Leader noted: “The issue of defending Palestine and supporting the Palestinian people is unquestionable in the minds of the Iranian people and is a resolved matter.”
The Leader of the Islamic Revolution stated: “The Palestinian issue is a primary concern for us, and the victory of Palestine is a certainty for us.”
Imam Khamenei emphasized that ultimate victory will belong to the Palestinian people and reminded: “Events and ups and downs should not cause doubt; rather, we must move forward with strong faith and hope, trusting in divine assistance.”
In conclusion, addressing Hamas leaders, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution stated: “By God’s grace, that day will come when all of you, with full pride, will resolve the issue of al-Qods for the Islamic world, and that day will certainly come.”
During the meeting, Mohammad Ismaeil Darwish, head of Hamas’ leadership council, Khalil al-Hayya, deputy head of Hamas’ political bureau, and Zaher Jabarin, head of Hamas in the West Bank, honored the fallen leaders of the resistance, especially martyrs Ismail Haniyeh, Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah, Yahya Sinwar, and Saleh al-Arouri. They presented a report on the latest situation in Gaza and the West Bank, the victories and successes achieved, and the current conditions, expressing gratitude for the unwavering support of the Islamic Republic and the Iranian people.
