Pars Today- Minister of mineral and petroleum resources of South Africa asked the African countries to not retreat before the American threats and refrain from giving minerals to the US.
The US President, Donald Trump, wrote on Sunday on his social network, “Social Truth” that he would cut the US financial aid to South Africa due to what he called as misbehavior of this country with a specific class of people. According to Pars Today, Samson Gwede Mantashe, South African Minister of Mineral and Petroleum Resources, in reaction to Trump’s threat, said, “African countries should not retreat against the American threats.”
According to the South African daily, The Mail and Guardian, Mantashe delivered a speech in the city of Cape Town during the 31st conference of investment in the African mines, in which he criticized the Western countries’ effort to marginalize African economic needs, and stressed, “If they [Westerners] do not give us money, we shouldn’t give them minerals. We are not beggars. Let us use this bounty to our own benefit. If our continent is paralyzed with fear, we will be disintegrated.”
The African minister of mineral and petroleum resources added, “We cannot continue discussing minerals according to the conditions imposed by some of the developed countries.”
Some experts believe that Trump’s recent conduct is related to the South African complaint from the Zionist regime at the International Criminal Court (ICC) which has infuriated Zionist officials and the powerful and influential Israeli lobby in the US [AIPAC].
