Africa; rebels announce ceasefire in east Congo
Reuters reported on Monday night that the “Congo River Alliance” with rebels of “March 23” (M23) among its members, has announced ceasefire since February 4. These rebels, who have seized “Goma”, the largest city in the east of the country, added that they are not intent to seize “Bukavu” city, capital of “South Kivu” province.
Palestine; meeting of Russian and Hamas officials
Taas news agency announced that Mikhail Bogdanov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, met with Musa Abu Marzook, Deputy Political Bureau of Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), in Moscow. The two officials talked about ceasefire agreement in Gaza and the need to increase humanitarian assistance to Palestinians.
Europe; Von der Leyen: We will respond decisively to US tariffs

Esmail Baqaei, Spokesman of Iran’s Foreign Ministry, referring to the repeated warnings of the UN human rights bodies, including that of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories, about the “spread of Israeli genocide to the West Bank concurrent with ceasefire in Gaza and the international community’s silence”, called for the world community’s serious reaction to prevent the repetition of heinous crimes by the Occupying regime.

According to IRNA, Pakistani Senate’s trade committee, during the meeting to pursue the future issues in bilateral trade with the Islamic Republic of Iran, especially the complicated swap procedure between the two countries, called on Islamabad to put on the agenda the using of local currencies to ease commercial transactions with Iran.
